We’re looking for a driven, analytical and forward-thinking Search Executive to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering measurable growth for our clients through effective PPC and SEO strategy, implementation and optimisation. You’ll work across a wide range of clients and sectors, helping them attract, convert and retain customers through best-in-class search activity.

What the role involves
In this role, you will take ownership of PPC and SEO activity across a variety of client accounts. This includes:
PPC
- Manage and optimise campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads
- Monitor budgets, pacing and performance to meet client goals
- Set up tracking, conversion actions and audience targeting
- A/B test ad copy, landing pages and bidding strategies
- Build clear, data-driven reports and communicate insights to clients
Paid Social
- Deliver Meta Ads campaigns across Facebook and Instagram
- Build audiences, test creatives and optimise for results
- Align paid social activity with broader search and content strategies
SEO
- Conduct technical audits and recommend improvements
- Lead on-page optimisation, including metadata, internal linking and content enhancements
- Support off-page SEO, including link acquisition and local SEO/GEO optimisation
- Carry out keyword research, competitor analysis and SERP monitoring
- Write and optimise content with SEO principles in mind
- Track performance in Google Search Console and analytics tools
General
- Produce monthly reports and translate data into clear actions
- Work collaboratively with wider team members across content, design and development
- Stay ahead of platform changes, algorithm updates and industry trends
- Support with WordPress updates and technical implementations where needed
This is a permanent full-time position (40 hours per week) and requires a minimum of 3 days per week from our office in central Sheffield. (You need to be legally allowed to work in the UK.)
What skills you’ll need
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Strong understanding of PPC and SEO principles
- An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify opportunities
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in execution
- Confident communicator who can explain insights clearly
- Ability to write high-quality ad copy and SEO content
- Comfortable working with WordPress
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritise effectively
- Curiosity and drive to stay ahead of search trends and algorithm updates
- Appreciation for UX and how it impacts search performance
Tools experience ideal:
- Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Search Console, SEMRush (optional), Microsoft Ads (optional), Screaming Frog (optional), WordPress, Looker Studio (optional)
